Site Leaders
Site Leaders are students that know of a place (school, orphanage, other institution) that can use donations from OHAN. Site Leaders might have worked at this site before, visited this site, or volunteered there. The Site Leader has to be in communication with the site and find an “on-site coordinator” who is willing to accept the donations we mail and distribute the supplies as well as promote a learning environment by reading the educational materials to the children. OHAN supports sites that:
1) Have up to 100 children at them
2) Do not require a continuous stream of supplies (such as medical clinics)
3) Are not currently receiving donations from other philanthropic groups
4) Have a reliable mailing address
5) Have a contact on-site to distribute supplies and educational materials
